While at Yale, Kerry was the recipient of The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Fellowship in Humanistic Studies and of a Yale University Fellowship. An undergraduate teacher and research assistant at Brown University, Kerry has also substitute taught for the Verona Board of Education, and worked as an applied behavior analysis instructor for 3-year old autistic twins. A former captain of the Brown University varsity fencing team, Kerry is the head  fencing coach at MKA. She also enjoys running, reading, birding and baking.
