Montclair Kimberley Academy tri-campus openings

Director of Educational Technology - Montclair Kimberley Academy is a rigorous, PK–12 independent day school with a strong national reputation and a globally recognized 1:1 Learning program, which has earned the school designation as an Apple Distinguished School and the Spotlight School at the 2012 Lausanne Learning Institute.  MKA seeks a Director of Educational Technology to innovate and lead current and future programs that foster teaching, learning and assessing with technology.  This senior administrative position begins July 1, 2015.  The Director of Educational Technology works collaboratively with the Director of Technology, but both have discrete roles, responsibilities and teams for which they are responsible. The Director of Educational Technology also serves as the Middle School Technology Coordinator.  PK-12 teaching experience and a Master’s degree are preferred.

Associate Director of Alumni Relations - Montclair Kimberley Academy, a rigorous PK – 12 independent day school with a strong national reputation and a recognized 1:1 laptop program, is seeking an Associate Director of Alumni Relations who will be responsible for cultivating the interest and support of the approximately 6,000 alumni of Montclair Kimberley Academy - to include all elements of alumni fundraising. The individual works with, and reports to, the Director of Alumni Relations and is responsible for helping to meet alumni fundraising goals and benchmarks.

Montclair Kimberley Academy Upper School - Grades 9-12:

AP Biology Teacher - Montclair Kimberley Academy, a rigorous PK – 12 independent day school with a strong national reputation and a recognized 1:1 laptop program, seeks a full-time AP Biology teacher beginning the 2015-16 school year. Responsibilities include teaching AP and honors biology, mentoring upper level independent research students, and serving as an advisor to a group of eight to ten students.

Middle School - Grades 4-8:

5th Grade English/Language Arts Teacher - Montclair Kimberley Academy, a rigorous PreK-12 independent day school with a strong national reputation and a recognized 1:1 laptop learning program, seeks a full-time, experienced 5th grade English/LA teacher beginning the 2015-2016 school year. Responsibilities include teaching 5th grade reading and writing workshops to two sections of 5th grade and serving as a 5th grade homeroom advisor.
