Tri-Campus:

Primary and Middle School After School Program Assistants

Part-time staff assistants needed for After School program located at both our Primary and Middle School campus. Excellent opportunity for recent college grads in the midst of a full-time job search. Hours are 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. We are looking for energetic, friendly and flexible individuals who enjoy working with young children ages 4-12.

Assistants are responsible for supervising students, assisting with homework, organizing activities, monitoring snack time and ensuring a safe and controlled environment for children after school hours.

Pay is hourly and based on experience ($8-12/hr). Interested candidates must be at least 16 years old and should send a letter of interest and resume to dguidi@mka.org.

Montclair Kimberley Academy Upper School - Grades 9-12:

Mathematics Teacher

Montclair Kimberley Academy, a rigorous PreK-12 independent day school with a strong national reputation and a recognized 1:1 laptop learning program, seeks a full-time Mathematics teacher beginning the 2014-2015 school year. Responsibilities include teaching four sections of mathematics and serving as an advisor to a group of approximately 10 students.

Chemistry Teacher

Responsibilities include teaching four sections of science including honors chemistry and serving as an advisor to a group of approximately ten students.

Mathematics Teacher

Montclair Kimberley Academy, a rigorous PreK-12 independent day school with a strong national reputation and a recognized 1:1 laptop learning program, seeks a full-time, experienced Middle School Mathematics teacher beginning the 2014-2015 school year. Responsibilities include teaching four sections of mathematics and serving as a co-advisor to a group of 16 students.

Middle School Counselor

Montclair Kimberley Academy, a rigorous PreK-12 independent day school with a strong national reputation and a recognized 1:1 laptop program, seeks a full-time, experienced Middle School Counselor beginning the 2014-2015 school year. Responsibilities include providing individual and group guidance for Middle School students; providing consultation services for faculty and parents as they relate to student social emotional development; serving as a member of the school Crisis Management Team. Additional duties may include teaching a Health class and/or supervising a student club.
