Many congratulations to Paul Edwards (Head Coach) and the Varsity Boys' Lacrosse Team (17-4) who defeated Pingry 9-7 on May 30 in Somerville, NJ to win the NJSIAA Non-Public B State Lacrosse Championship - the first ever NJSIAA Non-Public B State Lacrosse Championship in school history.
Leading the way for the Cougars were Mark Phillips '13 (3 goals/2 assists), Kyle Morris '12 (3 goals), Matt Lane '13 (2 goals/2 assists), Cameron Brazill '12 (1 goal/2 assists) and Craig Schweitzer '12 (10 saves).
In a first for MKA lacrosse, the Cougars now advance to play in the Lacrosse Tournament of Champions, to be held in Bridgewater on Saturday, June 2. The Tournament of Champions features the six Group State Champions - Delbarton, MKA, Bridgewater-Raritan, Ridgewood, Chatham and Summit.
