Congratulations to Christine Silen, a member of the MKA Class of 2010, who won the Sanford Cup at the Women's Metropolitan Golf Association's match play championships at Trump National Golf Club on June 22.
Silen, who attends Boston University and is a member of their D-1 varsity golf team, captained MKA's golf team in her junior and senior years, when she was the only female player on the squad. In her senior year at MKA, the team captured the 2010 NJSIAA Non-Public B State Championships and the 2010 NJISAA Prep B State Championships.
