How to properly eject the back up drive

To properly eject and disconnect your backup drive from the computer after backing up, drag the drive from your desktop to the trash. Wait until the icon disappears before unplugging the drive from the computer. If you unplug the drive before properly ejecting it or while a backup is in progress, you may cause damage to the drive and to the computer.
