Updating Apps from Mac App Store

Applications such as Pages, Keynote, iPhoto, and Garageband are updated via the Mac App Store or by going to Apple Menu -> Software Update...

No Apple ID is required to update these programs since they came with the computer. However, if other applications have been personally downloaded or purchased, those will also appear in the update list.
