Ron is the recipient of a number of teaching grants including a summer Fulbright scholarship to India. In 2016 he received a PAMKA Grant to run the Great Wall Marathon. Ron has taught at various schools including Erasmus Hall in Brooklyn, the Chapin School in Manhattan, and the Shanghai University of Technology in China. Ron is the coach of the Upper School Mock Trial team, which won the 2018 county championship, an assistant coach of the Middle School Cross-Country team, and a long-time faculty representative on the Honor Council. In addition to his normal teaching duties, Ron teaches a quadrennial Election course. Every four years he predicts who the new president will be. Except for 2004 he has always been wrong.
