Over the course of her studies, Joelle received a research grant from the Undergraduate Research Committee as well as a Graduate Assistantship for her M.F.A. research at Pennsylvania State University. She was awarded “Best in Show” in a regional art exhibition in 2012 at Artspace Gallery at the PlantZero Arts Complex in Richmond, VA. When Joelle is not teaching, she spends time with friends and family. She is a practicing and exhibiting installation artist who enjoys an afternoon getting her hands dirty in the studio. In addition, Joelle is an avid traveler and looks forward to her next backpacking adventure abroad in Europe. At MKA, Joelle is an eighth-grade advisor and MS Girl's Head Soccer Coach.

Chelsea currently teaches 5th and 6th-grade history, 4th-grade wellness, and advises 5th Grade. She is the Assistant Middle School Girls' Soccer Coach and Head Varsity Girls' Lacrosse Coach. Chelsea attended undergrad and grad school at Rutgers University, and she played on the women's lacrosse team at Rutgers. Outside of school she enjoys coaching and playing lacrosse, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
