Tom has worked in the New York Public Library as a children's librarian' and in the Youth Services Department at the Montclair Public Library. He is a member of the American Library Association, The National Storytelling Association, and the New Jersey Storytelling Guild. The latter affords Tom the opportunity to attend workshops, story swaps, and participate in Storytelling festivals around New Jersey. At MKA, Tom is also the co-cordinator of the computer department.
