Student Diversity Leadership Committee Represents at 3rd Annual We're Better Together Conference

Last month, 30 students from the Upper School Student Diversity Leadership Committee (SDLC) represented MKA at the 3rd annual We’re Better Together Conference at the Pingry School’s Pottersville campus. In partnership with The Pingry School and The Hun School of Princeton, this impactful event was designed to deepen students’ understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion, and antiracism while fostering relationships with peers from neighboring schools.

Assistant Head of School for Diversity, Inclusion, and Antiracism Paris McLean explained, “The conference serves as professional development for our young people. Students leave affirmed, equipped, more whole, and ready to navigate life. They know how to listen, be empathetic, and share a point of view that’s different from someone else’s.”
