Congratulations to MKA Head Coach Tim White and the MKA Girls’ Track and Field Team who captured the 2023 NJ Prep State Girls Track and Field Championship. This is the Cougars 2nd consecutive NJ Prep Girls Track and Field Championship. Capturing individual NJ Prep State titles and propelling the team to the championship were Mila Huang ’26 - Pole Vault - 9’4”; Salange Bell ’24 - Triple Jump - 32’7”; Kellen Ievers ’24 - Shot Put - 32’7.5”; Kitty Williams ’24 - Discus - 106’11”; Kitty Williams ’24 - Javelin - 103’3”.

Congratulations as well to Kalvin Thomas ’25 who won 3 Gold medals at the 2023 NJ Prep Boys Track and Field State Championship at Newark Academy helping MKA earn a 2nd place overall finish. Thomas took Golds in the 100m (11.39), 200m (23.77), and Triple Jump (43’7.5”).
