SUMMER ENRICHMENT

The MKA Summer Enrichment is designed to engage rising 4th–8th grade students in meaningful skill development, creative exploration, and social connection. The program blends the structure of academic learning with the energy and enjoyment of a summer camp setting, offering students an experience that is both intellectually stimulating and socially rich.

The program day is intentionally designed to balance focused academic engagement with play, reflection, and creative expression. We provide a range of interdisciplinary courses that encourage students to explore new subjects or deepen their understanding of familiar ones.

By the end of the program, students will have:

  • Experienced the satisfaction of curiosity-driven learning
  • Built lasting friendships and developed stronger social confidence
  • Gained a renewed excitement for learning that extends into the school year

12:00 - 12:45 p.m.  Lunch (in the classroom) and Recess (outdoor play)

12:45 - 1:25  p.m.   Mad Science/Maker Lab

1:30 - 2:15 p.m.  Sports Spectacular--a mix of basketball, soccer, and hockey

2:15 - 2:45 p.m.  Showtime!--dance, talents, singing, and more!

2:45 - 3:00  p.m.  Clean up/Pack up

3:00 p.m.  Dismissal

TWO, one-week AUGUST sessions from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

  • Session 1: August 3 - 7
  • Session 2: August 10 - 14

Classes are priced a la carte.

$255 per class

$450 if marked a "double period class"

  • All fees are due with course registration.
  • Refunds or credits due to illness or absence during camp will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • The program reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or dismiss any camper if his or her conduct is detrimental to the well-being of the camp or any other camper(s). No refund or credit will be issued.
  • Please note that class offerings are subject to minimum enrollment and staff availability

All students should bring lunch each day. Please remember that we are a nut-free camp!

  • Camper Drop-off as early as 8:30 AM.
  • For campers enrolled in later workshops, drop off is 10 minutes before class starts.
  • Students staying over the lunch period should pack a lunch.
  • Pick-up is within 15 minutes of your last class.
