ReSCHOOLED
ReSCHOOLED will offer lessons from the best minds at MKA as they share their stories, skills, and experiences. Stay tuned for more information about our spring event From Farm to MKA: How Your Food Choices Impact the Climate. Travel with Mr. Rich, MKA’s Upper School science teacher and Sustainability Coordinator, to TerraPurezza, a premier regenerative farm near Austin, TX, to learn how the food choices you make in the grocery store or farmer’s market make a world of difference in the global climate system. What is regenerative agriculture? How is your carbon footprint different shopping at grocery stores vs farmers markets? How is our industrial agriculture system set up and what can you do about it?
Hemmeter Lecture Series
The MKA History Department hosts two Hemmeter Lecture Series a year, featuring a wide variety of influential and thought-provoking panelists. Stay tuned for more information about this spring’s lecture on Social Justice.
