Upper School Campus, 6 Lloyd Road, Montclair
Built in 1968, the Fairleigh S. Dickinson Gymnasium is a classic circle gymnasium with a wooden domed roof. Home to: JV and Varsity Boys' and Girls' Basketball teams as well as select Girls' Volleyball games.
Middle School Campus, 201 Valley Road, Montclair
The gymnasium was built and completed in the summer of 1999. The gymnasium features team and locker rooms, a cardio training area, a training room, and a 40-foot climbing wall. Home to: Varsity and JV Girls' Volleyball, and Varsity Boys' and Girls' Fencing teams.
Middle School Campus, 201 Valley Road, Montclair
Located directly behind the Middle School campus, the Middle School Fields Complex is an essential 3.45-acre athletic space and the largest outdoor facility across all three campuses. MKA launched a major redesign of the complex as part of its MKA Active initiative in 2022. This $3.7 million project, funded largely through the generosity of donors, reflects MKA’s commitment to wellness, balance, and excellence in athletics. As one of the most heavily used areas at MKA, the complex is a vibrant center of activity, supporting physical education classes, recess, and unstructured play during the school day; Middle and Upper School athletic practices and competitions in the afternoons and evenings; and camps, recreational programs, and community gatherings on weekends and throughout the summer.
The revitalized complex met the growing demands of the school’s programs but also continues to serve as a dynamic space for community building and school spirit. Home to: Varsity and Middle School Baseball, Varsity and Middle School Softball, Boys' and Girls' Middle School Soccer, and Middle School Football.
40 Upper Mountain Avenue, Montclair
The renovation of Muenster Field, a component of MKA's Future Forward Campaign (designed to support programs, people, and facilities to enhance teaching and learning on all three campuses), has created a facility that now serves as the premier playing and practice facility for Middle and Upper School athletes in field hockey, soccer, and lacrosse. The extensive renovations boast a tournament-quality turfed field, field house, additional parking, and improved spectator areas. In addition, engraved pavers that line the way to the field house commemorate past teams, coaches, and members of the community, as well as offer messages of support from current alumni, families, friends, and athletes.
Upper School Campus, 6 Lloyd Road, Montclair
The Upper School Pool is a six-lane, 25-meter indoor swimming pool. Completely renovated in 2023, this state-of-the-art facility is configured with six lanes and the latest Colorado timing systems for competitive swimming and training. In use year-round, the pool is home to the Varsity and Middle School Boys' and Girls' Swimming teams, the Cougar Aquatics Junior Swim Club, and the STAR Camp summer swim program.

Upper School Campus, 6 Lloyd Road, Montclair
Van Brunt Field was completely renovated (Fall 2001) with the addition of a stone retaining wall, new bleachers, and a new "Astroplay" artificial grass playing surface. The surface is a mixture of artificial grass and crushed rubber pellets and features a full drainage system. Home to: Varsity Football, Varsity Soccer (Girls' and Boys'), and Varsity and JV Lacrosse (Boys' and Girls').
Upper School Campus, 6 Lloyd Road, Montclair
The MKA Weight Room was completely refurbished in the summer of 2009. Room features: free weights, weight stack machines, and a full range of cardio equipment, including stationary bikes, treadmills, stairmasters, and elliptical machines. MKA has a strength and conditioning coach on staff who can help athletes throughout the year with both in-season and out-of-season training programs.
