1. Submit the Application for Admission online by December 15, 2025, by clicking the APPLY button on our website.

Note: Decision notifications for all applicants will be sent by February 23. Your Parent Statement, Family Bio, and Application Fee are all due by December 15. All other supplemental materials (see below) are due by January 31. After you have submitted an Application for Admission, your Veracross Portal Application Checklist will appear with instructions regarding how to schedule your parent interview and private tour.

 2. Ask your child’s current teacher to complete the PreK Teacher Recommendation Form. The form should be completed no sooner than November 1 and submitted to the Admission Office no later than January 31. The Teacher Recommendation Form must be sent directly to the teacher from your Veracross Portal.

 3. Submit Videos - We have designed a video project to get to know our Pre-K applicants a little better during the admissions process.

4. Pre-K Applicants will be invited for a January Weekend Morning Playdate for one hour where they will meet our Pre-K teachers and engage in activities in our Pre-K classrooms.

4. Ask your current school to email us an official school report, due by January 31. The report should include at least two years of reports.

3. Ask your child’s current English and math teacher(s) to complete the Teacher Recommendation Forms. The forms should be completed no sooner than November 1 and submitted to the Admission Office no later than January 31. The Teacher Recommendation Form must be sent directly to the teacher from your Veracross Portal.

4. Ask your current school to email us official school reports, due by January 31. The report should include the current year and at least one previous year.  

5. Complete the Applicant Questionnaire within your Portal and submit by January 31. Many applicants choose to wait until after their school visit to complete this section.

6. Register for either theISEEor theSSAT standardized test. This test can be taken anytime between September 1 and January 15, as the results need to be submitted by January 31. MKA is a host site for the ISEE in mid-December, but families can register and take the test at any location or utilize the at-home option. Families applying for Financial Aid at MKA can request a test fee waiver by emailing Alyson Waldman, Director of Enrollment Management, Admissions, and Financial Aid.
