Weekend Open Houses
Weekend Open Houses
Weekend open house events occur at each of our three campuses. Applicants will meet current faculty, administration, parents, and students. The event includes a formal presentation and panels to learn more about our school community. Open Houses take place from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Weekday Information Sessions
Weekday Information Sessions
Weekday morning sessions take place at all three campuses. Applicants will meet current faculty, administrators, parents, and students. The day begins with presentations from administration and the admissions team. Families will tour the campus, visit classrooms, and speak with faculty.
Parent Coffees
Parent Coffees
Current parents often host informational coffee events at their homes in and around the northern NJ area. Attendees will meet and hear from our Head of School and other current parents across campus divisions. This event includes informal chatting and a formal Q&A with administrators and current parents.
Virtual Events
Virtual Events
Throughout the school year, MKA hosts virtual weekday events focusing on the fine and performing arts and athletics, as well as an alumni information session. Attendees will meet and hear from our admissions office and other members of our community across campus divisions.
ON-CAMPUS INTERVIEW/TOUR
Once a family has submitted their application, they will be invited to campus for a private tour and interview.
Primary School
Pre-K applicant families - parents only for the interview/tour. The Pre-K applicants are invited to a playgroup in January on a Saturday morning. Parent visit lasts one hour.
K-3 applicant families - all come together for the visit. Applicants meet with a teacher 1:1 for a short assessment and the parents have an interview and a private tour. The visit lasts about one hour.
Middle School
Applicants to our Middle School visit as a family (parents/guardians and applicant) for a 75-minute visit, which includes a private tour of the school, interviews, and a short writing sample.
Upper School
Applicants to our Upper School visit as a family (parents/guardians and applicant) for a 75-minute visit, which includes a private tour of the school, interviews, and a short writing sample.
