JR STAR campers will be transported by bus to MKA’s Upper School pool for swim instruction. Buses will be fully sanitized between each group. Submersible platforms will be placed into the pool to make it accessible to our youngest swimmers!

STAR Camp is based at MKA’s Middle School Campus (201 Valley Road, Montclair), and campers have full access to a beautiful dance/gymnastics room, updated classrooms including an art, science and computer room, a gym, several fields, and a cafeteria. As part of MKA's ongoing health and safety measures to keep our community safe, STAR Camp will require pooled COVID-19 PCR saliva testing for all STAR Campers and employees. Testing will be conducted weekly. The PCR saliva test will be administered by MKA and read by Mirimus Labs. The cost of testing is included in STAR Camp's weekly tuition. Families will be directly notified if their child is in a positive pool.
The pooled saliva PCR tests will be administered every Friday. Weekly returning campers will receive their tests at camp. New campers will report to MKA on the Friday prior to attending to receive their COVID-19 test.
