CASH ONLY EVENT
This is a cash only event, including food sales and purchases at the Cougar Consignment Corner! Please be sure to bring adequate cash to buy tickets for food, snacks, or beverages. The Cougar Consignment Corner (formerly known as Clothing Swap) will only accept CASH. Be sure to bring a shopping bag to carry all your items from The Corner.
Do you have Spirit Wear and Code of Attire clothing that has been outgrown? The Cougar Consignment is back—a chance to rehome those lightly used MKA clothes and to shop at Cougar Pride Day. Donation bins have been placed in each campus lobby. We will be accepting donations through Friday, April 11. Please only donate items that are in good or new condition. Questions? Join in on the excitement of this special day by signing up to volunteer for specific slots on Sunday, April 27! Your help is crucial in making this day a smashing success. We kindly request all volunteers to arrive 15 minutes prior to their allotted time for check-in and to allow ample time for parking.
TONI'S KITCHEN COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
As part of MKA's Community Outreach efforts, we will be collecting Personal Care and Food items for Toni's Kitchen on Cougar Pride Day. Each grade has been assigned an item to donate, please refer to the below list to see which item is requested from your child's grade.
Please bring your contributions with you to Cougar Pride Day. You can drop off your items at either of our two convenient locations: Lloyd Rd or the Walden Lot entrance.
- Pre-K: Diapers or pull-ups, any size
- Kindergarten: Breakfast cereal (nut-free)
- 1st Grade: Breakfast bars (nut-free)
- 2nd grade: Pasta
- 3rd Grade: Pasta sauce (no glass jars)
- 4th Grade: Rice
- 5th Grade: Canned tuna
- 6th Grade: Canned soup
- 7th Grade: Dried fruit
- 8th Grade: Canned beans
- 9th Grade: Oatmeal
- 10th Grade: Toothpaste (full-size)
- 11th Grade: Body wash (full-size)
- 12th Grade: Shampoo (full-size)
PARKING INFO
Please view the Cougar Pride Day Parking Map before you arrive for detailed parking options.
- Lloyd Road (off Bloomfield Avenue) will be closed for the event.
- Walden Lot: Includes handicap parking. Access via Walden Place from Bloomfield Ave.
- Upper Lot: Open to general parking. Some spots are reserved for the Alumni event, but the lot is still available.
- Street parking: Available nearby.
