A Great Weekend for MKA Athletics

This past weekend proved to be a busy and successful one for MKA varsity teams. Congratulations to the Girls' Varsity Soccer Team (14-7-2) and the Boys' Varsity Soccer Team (18-2-2) for both capturing the NJ Prep B State Soccer Championships at home this weekend.  The Girls' Team defeated Rutgers Prep (1-0) and the Boys' Team defeated Princeton Day School (3-0).  For both teams, this was their secopnd NJ Prep State Championship in the last past three years.  

Also this weekend, the varsity Football Team had their eighth win of the year, giving them the most successful season in the past fifty years, while the   Varsity Field Hockey Team, winners of the Prep State Championships for the past two years, suffered a heart-breaking double overtime loss (1-2) to Morristown Beard in this year's Championship finals.
