An Evening with Dominique Browning

07 October 2010

Looking for a great ladies night out?  Don't miss this unique opportunity for your friends, family or local Book Group:

The Parents' Association of The Montclair Kimberley Academy invites the community to join them for a very special evening event at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, when celebrated author and journalist Dominique Browning will be the guest of honor at a dinner at The Manor in West Orange.

Browning, described in The New York Times Book Review as "Not only an elegant and meditative writer, but a pungently witty one," was the former Editor-in Chief of Mirabella and House and Garden, and is the author of Slow Love: How I Lost My Job, Put on My Pajamas and Found Love.  Chronicling her experience of loosing a job that she loved, Browning's theme addresses the need "To live in those moments that connect us to the world, our family, our friends."

Tickets for the event, which includes a buffet dinner and wine, are $85 and can be obtained by calling 973-509-7017 or emailing rivlinrenken@aol.com.  A selection of Ms. Browning's books, made available as part of the MKA Book Fair, will be available for purchase and signing following her presentation.  For more information, call 973-509-7997.
