Apple Presents Award of Distinction to MKA

MKA was formally recognized as an Apple School of Distinction for 2013-15 when Apple representatives presented the Award to President of the Board of Trustees Michael Johnson and Headmaster Tom Nammack at an MKA Board of Trustees meeting last night.  MKA is one of less than 250 schools nationwide to be so honored.

In sharing the event with those trustees who could not be present, Nammack wrote: "Director of Technology William Stites and Director of Educational Technology Reshan Richards took the time and made the effort to seek the Apple recognition for MKA and carefully created a compelling and interactive application.  I want to thank them both for their leadership at many levels of MKA life and program and for shining a bright light on an aspect of the MKA experience that is second to none."
