College Early Decisions Bring Holiday Cheer for MKA Seniors

20 December 2013

For several members of the MKA Class of 2014, this holiday season has already brought them the best gift they could have hoped for – news that their early college applications have met with success.

To date, over 60 institutions of higher education have offered admission to MKA seniors, including two at Yale University and two at the University of Pennsylvania, while other admits have been received from Brown University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Duke University, Princeton University, Tufts University and Wesleyan University, as well as the University of Chicago, Colgate University, Smith College, Lehigh University, New York University and the University of Richmond.

“We have long had confidence in the Class of 2014,” notes Head of Campus Dr. David Flocco, “They are a remarkably talented, resilient and hard working group of young people. It's gratifying to see their dedication and talent recognized by such a strong and varied list of colleges and universities."

MKA students benefit from an unusually well staffed College Counseling Office that includes four full-time counselors and two part-time specialists (in the arts and athletics) for a senior class of 110 – a ratio that ensures that each student receives in-depth and expert guidance throughout the college application process.
