Construction Update - October 2014

Construction of the Academic Center is on schedule. Demolition is nearing completion and preparations are being made to pour the foundation in the coming weeks.

Drop-off and pick-up are running smoothly. Please keep in mind the following when dropping off or picking up your children on Lloyd Road:

• Leave extra time.
• Pull all the way into the drop off zone to drop off your children. Regardless of where they are dropped off, they may access the Upper School from either the athletic entrance or the arts wing entrance.
• For pick up after 3:45, please do not sit idle and wait for your children for more than a minute. With construction vehicles and two lanes of traffic needing to pass, it makes it almost impossible to keep the area safe if cars are parked along the sidewalk for extended periods of time.
• Michael and Keith are doing a wonderful job as our security personnel on Lloyd Road each and every morning and afternoon. Please be sure to thank them for their work and pay attention to their directions.

If anyone is coming to the Upper School campus for after school events (games, plays, etc.), please keep in mind that the rear lot is open to you. Until 3:00 p.m. each day, the rear lot is reserved for faculty, but after that time, please feel free to park there. We respectfully ask that you not park in the fire lanes adjacent to the school. Also, any spot available on Lloyd Road after 3:00 p.m. is available to you, as well. In addition, there is extra parking in Walden Lot, open to all members of the community.
