Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholars Announced

Congratulations to the following eleven MKA seniors who have been named 2009 Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholars: Alyse Amato, Kristy Ashmawy, Nathalie Cernasov, Catherine DeKeizer, Madeline Frank, Kelly Froelich, Miriam Grossman, Mary Labowsky, Giri Nathan, Emma Shepard and Lilly Shepard.

Administered by The Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA), an independent agency of the State of New Jersey, Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholar awards are given to those students who place in the top 10% of their classes and have a minimum combined SAT score of 1260, or are ranked first, second, or third in their class, as of the end of their junior year.  More than 5000 Distinguished Scholars receive award offers for the coming academic year, which they may use to continue their education at New Jersey institutions.
