Erica Budd Writes 'How Montclair Kimberley Academy Integrates Brain Research into its Professional Development'

Congratulations to Erica Budd, MKA’s technology and learning coordinator of the Upper School, on her innovative and inspiring piece she wrote for NAIS, 'The Independent School Magazine Blog,’  called ' How Montclair Kimberley Academy Integrates Brain Research into Its Professional Development.’ 

In this blog Erica Budd describes how Montclair Kimberley Academy started using brand research in its professional development in 2011. What started as a thought-provoking layer to technology workshops has become a natural part of how the school approaches teaching and learning. Some administrators are beginning to consider changes to other aspects of school life, including the schedule, as a result of this new knowledge. 

Erica’s work is a great example of how our homegrown programs are becoming models for the wider independent school community.
