Freshman Claims Sabre Title
Congratulations to freshman sabrist Alexa Bieler who took the title of sabre champion at the annual Freshman/Sophomore Tournament held at Princeton-Day School recently. In the Direct Elimination rounds, Alexa beat her sophomore sabrist teammates before beating two experienced fencers from other schools.
In addition, freshman foilist Claudia Carcamo took 3rd place, and boys’ sabrist Matt Alonso finished in 4th place.
