Freshman takes CHC Golf Title

Congratulations to freshman Stephen Piela on taking home the individual Colonial Hills Conference Golf Championship at SpookyBrook yesterday.

His round of 69 not only securred the individual title, but also helped the MKA team (Will Johnson, Joe Mallock, Christine Silen and Matt Kraus) come in third place overall in the league championship.

MKA Golf Coach Jeff Beer comments, "I am trying to do a little homework to find out if and when someone has shot 69 in competition before from MKA or any other Conference school.  I know that it hasn't happened in the past four years.
All in all, it was a great way to end a great season.  After graduating 7 seniors last year, this team really stepped up in a way that I would not have predicted possible!"
