Ilirjana (Illy) Lulgjuraj named Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach!
The MKA Department of Athletics is thrilled to announce that Ilirjana (Illy) Lulgjuraj has been named our new Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach. Coach Illy has been the MKA Head Middle School Basketball Coach the past 2 years and was also one of the Assistant Coaches on Jessica Bishop's Varsity staff. Coach Illy has also been the MKA Assistant Varsity Cross Country Coach and Assistant Varsity Track and Field Coach this past year.
Coach Illy's excitement and vision for the future of MKA Basketball bodes well as she will lead lead the team into the 2018-2019 season. Coach Illy's enthusiastic approach and knowledge of the sport of basketball and her rapport with our current and rising student athletes made her an ideal candidate for the head coaching position.
Coach Illy received her college degree from Bloomfield College (Class of '14) where she was a double major in Psychology and Sociology and was the Women's Basketball Team Captain for 2 years.
