Latest News on MKA's Girls' State Championship

Many congratulations to the MKA Girls' Varsity Tennis Team and Varsity Coach Bill Wing on capturing the NJSIAA Non-Public B State Championships at Mercer County Park today.  This is the team's first state championship since 2006.

After defeating 2nd seeded Newark Academy 3-2 to win the Sectional Title yesterday, the team, co-captained by seniors Danielle Charpentier, Kira Farris and Julia Perlmutter, defeated Gill St. Bernard's to clinch the Championships. Winning on three courts were sophomore Madison Rivlin (2nd singles),
Danielle Charpentier (3rd singles) and the team of Kira Farris and sophomore Lauren Charpentier (1st doubles).
