MKA 6th Grader Returns as Guest Presenter to Liberty Science Center

18 November 2011

On the weekend of November 26 and 27, MKA 6th grader Kenny Stier returns to the Liberty Science Center to present another topic his Obsessed with Science Program.

This presentation, at the request of LSC, will focus on math in conjunction with the Center's new visiting exhibit, "Math Midway," and will provide an opportunity for guests to explore games that demonstrate how learning new math concepts can be entertaining and enjoyable for even the most reluctant math students. More advanced math activities will be offered for anyone interested in a challenge, and the interrelationship between math and the sciences in everyday situations will be explored. The presentation is free with paid admission and will be held at the top on the Grand Staircase from 12:00-3:00 p.m.

This is Kenny's fifth presentation at LSC, and brother Zack, an MKA 8th grader, will be helping. Kenny will bring Obsessed With Science back to the LSC during their "12 Days of Science" over Christmas Break, and again in February, with a presentation on chemistry.
