MKA Athletes Bound for Division 1 Schools

22 November 2011

Congratulations to three members of the Class of 2012 who recently signed National Letters of Intent to continue their athletic careers at Division 1 schools next fall.

Max Herrmann will play baseball for the University of Rhode Island, Patrick Karole will play lacrosse for the University of Denver and David Frankl will be a member of Stanford University's mens' gymnastics team.

"This is a remarkable testament to the talent, dedication and hard work that we see in our MKA athletes." Notes MKA's Director of Athletics Todd Smith, "Given the depth and breath of the academic program at MKA, it is not always easy to balance a student's academic workload with the time commitment required to be a first-class athlete. These three young men, together with many of their classmates, have managed it with great success and we are extremely proud of them."
