MKA Athletes Bring Home Four More Championships

Congratulations go to the Girls' (21-5) and Boys' (22-4) Varsity Basketball Teams who both won Super Essex Conference (SEC) Independence Division Basketball Championships this past week.  Both teams have now won back to back SEC League Championships and have combined for over 80 wins the last two years.

Congratulations also go to the Varsity Ice Hockey Team (13-9) under Head Coach John LaGorce who claimed MKA's first Ice Hockey Tournament Championship since 2004. defeating West Essex High School 4-2 over the weekend to win the McInnis Cup at Codey Arena in West Orange.

And finally, congratulations to freshman Lyndsi Ross-Trevor who  is the new Non-Public B Pole Vault State Indoor Champion with an NJSIAA meet record vault of 9 feet 9 inches. Lyndsi ended her season, not only ranked the No. 1 freshman pole vaulter in the state, but ranked 7th in the nation amongst all freshmen pole vaulters in MileSplit.us.
