MKA Athletes Meet With More Success

Congratulations to Hallie Earle '12 who broke her own 55m Indoor school record at the Essex County Indoor Track Championships at Seton Hall University. Her time of 7.50 earned her 5th place overall in the highly competitive Girls 55m Finals.

Congratulations to the Boys' Fencing Epee Squad (Everett Glenn '11, Jordan Walters '13, and Ian Wilson '13) who took the silver medal at the weekend's District Championships.  This placement qualifies the squad for the State Championships later this month. In addition, Glenn finished in 3rd place in the individual Epee competition, gaining a place in the Individual State Championships in March.

Congratulations to the Boys' Varsity Basketball Team (15-1) who defeated Montclair High on January 31 with a 62-56 win.  This is only the second Cougar win over the Mounties in program history, and the second year in a row that Coach Jones' squad have achieved this.  The Cougars trailed by 3 points heading into the 4th quarter when Zach Friedman '12 erupted for 10 points (8-8 from the free throw line) leading the Cougars in their comeback win.
