MKA Boys' Lacrosse Coaching Staff Honored with 2025 Len Roland Sportsmanship Award

Congratulations to MKA Varsity Boys' Lacrosse Head Coach Dave Giarrusso and the MKA Boys' Lacrosse coaching staff and program on being selected as the recipients of the 2025 Len Roland Sportsmanship Award earlier this month.

Len Roland, a lacrosse standout at Cornell and former NJILOA official in the 1970s and 1980s, was the consummate professional and great teacher of the game. Following Len’s passing, the NJILOA created the Len Roland Sportsmanship Award in his honor, an award given to a coach or coaching staff that best emulates Len’s professionalism, sportsmanship, and honor of the game of lacrosse, as displayed during the course of the current season.

This marks the second time the MKA Varsity Boys' Lacrosse program has received this prestigious honor. The first was in 2016 under then Head Coach Paul Edwards.
