MKA Boys Win Soccer State Championship

Many congratulations to the MKA Boys' Soccer Team and their coach Jordan Raper on defeating Gill St. Bernards 1-0 on Monday, November 14 at the College of New Jersey to win the NJSIAA Non-Public B State Championship.

This is only the  second time in team history that the team has securred the Prep-B State Championship (the last time being in 2006.) In last night's game, Malcolm Dixon '15 scored the winning goal with an assist from Miles Hackett '13 with 1:32 remaining in the first overtime period and Matt Lane '13 secured the shutout for the win.  The Cougars have only conceded one goal in their last nine matches and closing the season with a 21-2-2 record, were not scored on throughout the entire NJSIAA Tournament.
