MKA Cheerleaders and Football Team have Record-Breaking Season
Congratulations on a record-breaking season to both the MKA Football team and the loyal MKA Cheerleading squad.
With MKA's 20-3 win at St. Joseph of Metuchen on Monday, Oct. 31, the Cougars, led by Coach Lance Ramer, have now won 7 games for the first time in 19 years since posting a 7-2 record in 1992. According to available records, MKA had another 7-win season (7-1) in 1970 - the first year that such records were kept.
Meanwhile, on November 1, the MKA Cheerleaders, led by Coach Teri Butler, took home 1st Place in the SEC Colonial Division Cheerleeding competition held at Bloomfield High School. In addition, this "Cheer for the Cure" competition raised over $5,000 for Breast Cancer Research.
