MKA Coach Named to Auburn University Hall of Fame

Congratulations to MaeOla Bolton, The Montclair Kimberley Academy Head Girls' Basketball Coach, who will be inducted into the Auburn University Hall of Fame on Saturday, April 17 in Auburn, AL.

Bolton was a former NCAA Division I All-American, four time All-SEC player, and captain of the Lady Tigers who made it to the Woman’s Final Four in 1988.  Named to the USA National Woman’s Basketball Team in 1986 and 1987, Bolton went on to play professional basketball in Italy and in the WNBA with the Detroit Shock.

Bolton has just finished her first year coaching at MKA, leading the team in a highly successful season that saw them named co-champions of the SEC Independence Division, and a 21-5 record.
