MKA Community Powers Up for Book Fair

While school remained closed on October 31, the MKA parent community turned out in force at the Middle School Campus to help set up the School's annual Scholastic Book Fair.  

The Book Fair, which opens for faculty and staff on Friday afternoon and for the general public on Sunday, November 4 at 10:00 a.m., will proceed as planned, despite the effects of Hurricane Sandy which have left the vast majority of the MKA community without power.  "The Book Fair is one of the highlights of our year," commented event co-chair Renee Rivlin, "and we're hoping that the whole community will turn out on Sunday to enjoy some relief from their darkened homes and to enjoy our visiting authors and incredible selection of books."

MKA will reopen for school tomorrow, Thursday, November 1.
