24 April 2019

Congratulations to our Director of Technology, William Stites, on being named a 2019 Atlis Pillar Award winner! The award is given to top thought leaders in the independent school technology community who exemplify the pillars of ATLIS's mission - inform, connect, reflect.

Mr. Stites was honored at the Annual Conference of the Association of Technology Leaders in Independent Schools (ATLIS) in Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. ATLIS Board President Jason Ramsden shared that this year's winners "will carry the torch of our inaugural winners well, representing the best of the independent school technology community through the tireless work they have done during their careers. Each and every day, they model for our colleagues across the country what it means to be a leader in this space. Their passion for and commitment to advancing technology leadership in independent schools is commendable, and I am proud to call them colleagues."

Along with Mr. Stites, both Susan M. Bearden, author and Chief Innovation Officer of the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN), and Vinnie Vrotny, Director of Technology at the Kinkaid School in Texas, were honored as winners this year.
