MKA Girls' Lax Captures Third NJ Prep B Championship

Congratulations to Head Coach Fay Lonsinger Head Coach and the MKA Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Team who captured their third consecutive NJ Prep B State Championship on May 13. In a nail-biting contest, the Cougars finally defeated Morristown Beard 7-6 in triple overtime in Morristown, NJ.

Sami Pai '16 scored the game tying goal with .5 seconds left in regulation and then scored the game winner 19 seconds into the 3rd OT.  Senior goalie Emma Layton led a ferocious defensive effort to keep the Cougars close throughout the afternoon.
