MKA Girls' Lax Team Wins State Championship
Congratulations to the MKA Girls' Lacrosse Team led by Head Coach Faye Lonsinger, who captured the NJ Prep B Lacrosse Championship yesterday with a 13-11 win over Morristown Beard.
Leading the way for the Cougars were Tess Meyer '12 (4 goals), Kerry Fusco '11 (3 goals), and Becky Smith '11 (7 saves).
This is MKA's first NJ Prep Girls' Lacrosse Championship since 2002, and represents a terrific end to this year's lacrosse season at MKA as the both the Girls' and Boys' Team are Prep B champions.
