MKA Invites a Guest of Honor to Book Fair Luncheon

Montclair author Deborah Davis was the "Guest of Honor" at the annual MKA Parents' Association Book Fair Luncheon held at the Highlawn Pavilion on November 27.    Davis, a prolific author whose works include "Gilded: How Newport Became the Richest Resort in America", "Party of the Century: The Fabulous Story of Truman Capote and His Black and White Ball", and "Strapless: John Singer Sargent and the Fall of Madame X" discussed her most recent book "Guest of Honor: Booker T. Washington, Theodore Roosevelt, and the White House Dinner That Shocked a Nation" to an enthralled audience that included past and present MKA parents, alumni, local friends, faculty and MKA's Headmaster Tom Nammack and his wife Zandi.
