MKA Junior Selected as NJ Devils' Player of the Month

Congratulations to MKA junior Nick Picnic who has been selected as the New Jersey Devils High School Player of the Month for January.

Each month, December through February, seven student-athletes from throughout the state are selected as recipients of the award.  Public A, Public B and Non-Public All-Tournament Teams will be selected in March and an overall High School Player of the Year will be chosen at the conclusion of the season.

Winners are based on nominations received from varsity ice hockey coaches throughout the state and voted on by local media.  This marks the 20th season that the Devils are honoring high school student-athletes.

As a winner, Picnic will receive 2 tickets to a Devils' game, a plaque presented by a Devils' player, and dinner for him and his guest at Prudential Center’s Acela Club, compliments of the Devils.
