MKA Junior Selected for Bronfman Youth Leadership Program

Junior Rafi Bildner has been named one of 26 high school juniors in the nation selected for the prestigious Bronfman Youth Leadership Program in Israel.  This 5-week program educates and inspires exceptional young Jewish students from diverse backgrounds to become active participants in Jewish culture throughout their lives, and to contribute their talents and vision both to the Jewish community and to the world at large. During the trip, Bilder will have the opportunity to meet with educators, artists, authors and thinkers to expand his knowledge of the land and people of Israel and to study Judaism and major issues in contemporary Jewish life.

In addition, Bildner was recently recognized at the New Jersey citizen group Bluewave’s annual fundraiser for his outstanding leadership during the Obama and Corzine campaigns.  He coordinated high school volunteers and ran a successful get-out-the-vote operation for the local campaign office, and was honored in a New Jersey Legislature resolution for his work.
