MKA Middle School Mathematician Advances to States

Congratulations to MKA eighth grader Zack Stier who came in second place out of more than 225 contestants at the Warren, Sussex, Passaic, Morris and Essex Counties division of MATHCOUNTS, and who now goes through to compete at the State Tournament.

In its 27th year, MATHCOUNTS is a national enrichment, club and competition program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement through grassroots involvement in every U.S. state and territory. Zack will be one of approximately 50 contestants participating in the State competition, from which the top four individuals will advance to the National Competition finals.
