MKA Musicians Celebrate 20 Years at Carnegie Hall

MKA's Strings Program celebrates the 20th consecutive year of Carnegie Hall performances with their annual Opus String Gala in the Judy and Arthur Zankel Hall on Saturday, May 16 at 3:00 p.m.

Under the direction of Dimitri Hadjipetkov,109 students drawn from MKA's three campuses will perform a variety of works ranging from the Farewell Allegro from Haydn's Symphony No. 45 (the MKA Upper School Advanced Chamber Ensemble) to the traditional nursery rhyme, Mary Had a Little Lamb, by the Primary School Kindergarten Strings performers.
