MKA Says Goodbye to Chilean Exchange Students

Yesterday, March 5th, the MKA Upper School said goodbye to a group of exchange students from Instituto Abdón Cifuentes in San Felipe, Chile. The visitors, who had been part of the Upper School community for the past for a five weeks, had attended classes, made new American friends, spent time visiting New York City and enjoyed family life with their MKA host families.  This is the fifth year that the exchange has taken place - a group of MKA students will travel to Chile this  June to live with Chilean families - and as part of MKA's Global Experience, the program promotes cross-cultural learning and language and cultural immersion.
