MKA Senior continues to Shine in Debate

Senior Alexa Semonche continues to make a name for herself in the realm of student debate.  She has just received an invitation to the Vassar Round Robin, a prestigious invitational tournament to which only sixteen of the rising young Lincoln-Douglas debaters in the country are invited. The tournament provides a forum for very talented up-and-comers in the debate community to compete amongst peers in a highly educational, championship environment.

Participants come from some of the best debate schools around the country.  Alexa’s selection is an indication that she has garnered attention in national debate circles with her results, which have included coming first in the JV division of the Lincoln-Douglas debate at the Harvard Invitational Tournament this spring.
