MKA Senior Named a National Merit Finalist

07 March 2013

Congratulations to MKA senior Jeremy Moses who has been named a finalist in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Competition.

Moses enjoys photography, has been a member of the MKA Track and Field Team for all four years of high school, is a member of the Political Action and Finance Clubs and has participated in Model UN and the Fencing Team.

The National Merit Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955. High school students enter the National Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test —a test which serves as an initial screen of approximately 1.5 million entrants each year.  Approximately 15,000 students then achieve the designation of Finalist.
