MKA Senior Ranks First in the State
Congratulations to MKA senior Jenny Osbun, an equestrienne who is currently ranked first in New Jersey, second in the Tri-State area and 21st out of 500 riders in the nation in the Novice Division.
Osbun, who has been riding since she was five and currently trains with Jennifer Morse in Lebanon, NJ, acquired a three year-old untrained horse (named Gunther) two years ago and she has trained him up through the levels in Dressage, Stadium Jumping and Cross Country.
Osbun spent the summer working for Olympic champion Phillip Dutton in West Grove, PA, competing on the weekends. This season, she qualified for the YEH Championships. The only junior and non-professional in her class, Osbun also qualified in the Novice division for the Regional and National Championships.
A member of the United States Eventing Association, Osbun will receive a Varsity Letter, a Blue Ribbon Award and a Silver Medal Award at year's end.
